HOBART PREMIERE AT THE STATE CINEMA

Oscar and I met with Greens Senators Bob Brown & Christine Milne. It was even more exciting than meeting Roger Corman. What amazing people.

The feeling in the air for the premiere in Hobart was, without a doubt, the most exciting thus far. To be screening the film in my home town and in the same city where Alexander Pearce met his death 185 years ago… was a very exciting occasion indeed. The event was sold out.

The film was introduced by Greens Senator Christine Milne who gave a beautiful speech and the end credits were met with a huge applause.

It was a memorable night.

STATE CINEMA in Hobart Sept 23rd
This is what i’m considering to be the VDL Gala Premiere and probably the screening i’m most excited about. This is the Tasmanian premiere of the film and i’ll be back at my home town to present it. There will be a Q&A with myself, Oscar Redding and Maggie Miles and it will be moderated by Jonathan Dawson (ABC Hobart). But the big coup is that we have CHRISTINE MILNE (Greens Senator) introducing the film.
Don’t miss this screening if you live in Hobart. Keep an eye on the STATE CINEMA website for details.
Hope to see you there!!
